Infrared Photography

Infrared’s, like Black and Whites can be processed prior or post production.

To take them in-camera you need either a camera that has been converted to Infrared, much easier to use, unfortunately much more expensive.
The other option is an Infrared Filter, but the camera must then be used on a tripod because of the slow shutter speed necessary.

As you can see this image is “very dramatic” having been converted to Infrared, the original taken at midday on a bright sunny day, was extremely contrasty and rather ‘flat’ in colour.
