Illustrator (by Adobe) is a great way to make graphics images. The image below was first hand drawn on paper with lead pencils and then refined with Rotring Pens.
I then scanned it and placed it in Illustrator, utilising the “Live Trace” and the “Live Paint” features of Illustrator to hand colour the scene.
